For the first 90 days weekly and then by weekly depending on the urgency of situation that could affect Edmontonians. I a committed to engagement of Edmontonians and bringing everyone into the fold of City Hall. 

As Mayor, I am dedicated to fostering clear communication and transparent governance by hosting regular press conferences at City Hall. For the first 90 days of my term, these press conferences will be held weekly to ensure Edmontonians are fully informed about business proposals, investment discussions, and municipal transactions. After this initial period, press briefings will continue on a bi-weekly basis, or more frequently should urgent matters arise that impact our community. This commitment reflects my unwavering focus on civic engagement, ensuring that all Edmontonians are actively included and informed about the decisions and activities at City Hall. Together, we will build a more accessible and accountable municipal government—one where every resident has a voice.

When major decisions arise, the Tap IN Edmonton App provides Edmontonians with the opportunity to express their perspectives. The Mayor's office will distribute questions or surveys directly to residents, collecting data by ward to ensure the Mayor and council have a comprehensive understanding of public opinion on city issues. Historically, no Edmonton city council has fully embraced transparency. Tap IN Edmonton, combined with my commitment to keeping residents regularly informed, will empower Edmontonians to have their voices heard at City Hall. Additionally, I am ensuring residents are actively involved in the decision-making process for every matter addressed at City Hall.

As Mayor, I am dedicated to transforming our dashboards into accessible, user-friendly tools, seamlessly integrated with the Tap IN Edmonton app. These enhanced dashboards will feature live updates, benchmarking, and clear timeline objectives, allowing residents to monitor how their tax dollars are allocated and spent in real time. By making this data transparent and easy to understand, I am committed to ensuring City Council’s financial decisions are visible and accountable to every Edmontonian, empowering our community with the information needed to participate meaningfully in municipal governance.

As your mayoral candidate, I, am dedicated to ensuring that every Edmontonians voice carries weight in shaping our city’s future. Recent conversations regarding infill and zoning have underscored a sense of disconnect, particularly on the issue of unit density per development. I have listened to community members who have advocated for reducing the maximum allowable units from eight to six, yet this feedback was not adequately reflected in the final decisions.

My platform prioritizes a thorough and ongoing review of Edmonton’s updated zoning bylaw, acknowledging that these rules profoundly influence the character, resilience, and vibrancy of our neighbourhoods. I am committed to a governance style characterized by transparency, meaningful collaboration, and deep respect for the lived experiences of Edmonton’s families, homeowners, and local businesses.

As Mayor, I will champion open and ongoing dialogue, working in partnership with residents and city officials to achieve solutions that foster responsible growth while safeguarding the unique qualities that define Edmonton.
